We, Huawei Technologies (Ireland) Co., Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Huawei", "we", "us", and "our"), attach great importance to privacy information protection. Please carefully read our Privacy Notice ("this Privacy Notice") so that you can clearly understand how we collect and process your personal information.
This Policy Notice applies to Huawei website and services that display or provide links to this Policy Notice. Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Notice or in other service specific privacy statements, the controller of your personal data is Huawei.
Please note that this Privacy Notice of Huawei Smart PV Community is not intended for use by minors. You must reach the age of majority for the legal jurisdiction that you reside in. If you are minors (the age stipulated by local laws), you are not allowed to create your own user accounts without the consent of your parents or guardians. If a child's personal data is collected with prior parental consent, we will only use or disclose the data as permitted by applicable law, with the explicit consent of the child's parents or guardians, or when necessary for the protection of the child. If we accidentally collect a child's personal data without verified prior consent from the child's parents, we will attempt to delete the data as soon as possible.

1 What data do we collect about you
Personal data refers to any data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We will only collect and use your personal information for the following purposes described in this Notice:
• User account information: Huawei Uniportal ID, password, FusionSolar user account
• Device related information: SN, installation country, installation time, activation country, activation time.
• Personal contact information: name, mobile phone number, email address, address, city, country, zip code
• Company information: company name, company phone number, company email address, company website, company address, city, country, zip code, registration number, registration document, company logo, market share information
• Certificates of Huawei FusionSolar Certified Installer/Huawei FusionSolar Professional Installer: Certificate ID

2 How do we use your data
We will process the following data as necessary to provide you with the requested services and to fulfill our contractual obligations to you.
2.1 We will collect and process your “User account information” (Huawei Uniportal ID, password) to allow you log in to and use the Account management services of providing services to installers, and user password retrieval.
2.2 We will collect and process your “Personal contact information” (name, email address) and your “Certificate information” (certificate ID), when you experience our Certification function on the Huawei Smart PV Community.
2.3 We will collect and process your “Personal contact information” (name, email address, country) and your “Company information” (company name), when you participate in our event on the Huawei Smart PV Community.
2.4 We will collect and process your “Personal contact information” (name, mobile phone number, email address, address, city, country, zip code) and your “Company information”, when you experience our gift redemption service in the Point Mall function on the Huawei Smart PV Community.
2.5 We will collect and process your “Company information” (as listed above) so that you can create an installer company account on behalf of your company.
2.6 We will collect and process your “User account information” (Huawei Uniportal ID, password, FusionSolar user account) to allow you log in to and use the Account management services of providing services to installers, and user password retrieval in FusionSolar APP
2.7 We will collect and process your Personal contact information (name, mobile phone number, email address, address, city, country, zip code) when you register your personal account.
2.8 We will collect and process your “company information” (company name, business registration country, company located city, company registration number) and Company Administrator Information(name, job title, email, phone number) when you register your company in community. We will collect your company certification information (company name, business registration country, company address, company located city , zip code, company license or the company registration number, company phone number, company official email, official website address, company registration file, letter of authorization, the scale of installed capacity of inverter and energy storage system) when you complete your company certification so that you could experience our gift redemption service, promotions on the Huawei Smart PV Community.
2.9 After obtaining your explicit consent, we will share your Huawei Uniportal ID with the FusionSolar APP to establish the mapping relationship between your FusionSolar account and your Huawei Uniportal ID. In this way, you can view and quickly participate in the digital services such as bonus points incentives, exam and certification, training provided by the Smart PV community.
2.10 With your consent, we will collect and process your “Personal contact information” (name, email address, country) and your “Certificate information” (certificate ID) to send you our EDM emails, so as to help us to continuously improve our products and services. You can unsubscribe at any time by choosing User Center > My Profile > Edit to Withdraw in email.
3 How do we store or disclose your data
Your data is stored on the server located in the Frankfurt, Germany.
Our service providers have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by contract and will not process your personal data for any other purposes. We will share or disclose your personal data in the following scenarios:
3.1 Sharing with service providers:
We use Huawei intragroup service providers. They will have access to your personal data and process your data only insofar as is necessary for the performance of our contractual obligations to you. Your personal data will be shared with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd in the People’s Republic of China who will provide you with maintenance service. 3.2 Disclosing to third-party service providers:
We will disclose your “Personal contact information” (as listed above) to the third-party logistics company so that we can response your gift redemption order and provide you with gift delivery services.
3.3 Legal or regulatory disclosures:
We may share or disclose your personal data to comply with applicable laws and regulations in response to requests from regulators, courts or government agencies, or to establish or defend our legal rights.
3.4 Business reorganization:
Your personal data may also be disclosed as part of merger, acquisition, sale of assets (such as service agreements) or transition of service within Huawei group or to another company.
4 How long do we retain your data
We aim to take all reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage or loss. We will continue improving these measures to protect the security of your personal data. For example, we may use encryptions to ensure sensitive data confidentiality; we use trusted protection mechanisms to protect data from malicious attacks; we deploy access control mechanisms to ensure only authorized personnel can access personal data; and we raise awareness among employees about the importance of protecting personal data through security and privacy protection training sessions.
We will retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes defined in this Notice.
In the Huawei Smart PV Community service, the specific retention period of your personal data is as follows:
4.1 We will keep your gift redemption order information for 5 years from the date you place your order, to ensure we comply with relevant tax and audit compliance requirements. Once the retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, unless otherwise required by relative laws and regulations.
4.2 You can also exercise your data subject rights to delete your personal data, please describe your request in details here.
5 Your rights and choices
You have the following data subject rights and choices regarding your personal data.
You can disable services of this Community on this Website. After you disable the services, we will stop providing services for you. Unless otherwise specified by laws and regulations, and Huawei Smart PV Community User Agreement, we will delete your personal information. If you want to use the services again after the services are disabled, you need to enable the services. Disabling the services will irreversibly delete your data. Exercise caution when performing this operation. For more information about disabling services of this Community, click My Profile in your account, click Disable Services in the upper right corner, and view the information on the page that is displayed.
