Huawei will process your personal data based on our legitimate interest, which is to investigate or defend claims-Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
2. How long and where do we store your data
We retain your personal data for no longer than that is necessary for the purposes defined in this Statement.
In particular:
Event Management 30 days after the Event
Electronic Direct Marketing Until you withdraw consent
Promotion of the event As per the authorization letter, or until the successful exercise of the right to object.
Survey 2 years after the Event, or until the successful exercise of the right to object.
Unless otherwise stated hereunder, your personal data will be stored in Germany. After the retention period expires, we will erase or anonymize your personal data, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.
3. How do we share your data?
(1) Disclosure of your personal data:
Huawei uses suppliers and service providers to organize the Event efficiently and to guarantee your smooth and enjoyable participation. The processing of personal data in relation to our suppliers is always commissioned by us and the parties will act only on our behalf as personal data processors. Such processing is always protected with contractual arrangements to ensure that your personal data are processed in accordance with the laws and good data processing practices.
Huawei and its partners/suppliers shall establish technological, physical, administrative and procedural safeguards all in line with the industry-accepted standards in order to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of the Personal Data processed; prevent the unauthorized use of or unauthorized access to the Personal Data or prevent a Personal Data breach.
(2) Transfer of Personal Data out of the EEA
As a general rule, personal Data are processed and shared locally. However, since Huawei is part of a group of companies with a global presence and offering a transnational scope of services, each affiliate is deemed to disclose Personal Data to other affiliates within the Huawei Group. The International Transfer of Personal Data to Huawei Group is subject to applicable laws and shall be subject to adequate security measures. In countries where the legal level of protection of Personal Data is considered as not sufficient, the affiliates shall take appropriate measures to ensure an adequate level of protection of the disclosed data. (3) Disclosures related to legal requirements and business transactions
Huawei may share your data in response to a legal process or request from a competent authority based on an applicable law or in connection with legal proceeding or process.
Your data may also be disclosed as part of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets (such as service agreements) or transition of service to a Huawei Group or other relevant company.
Huawei may also disclose Personal Data when appropriate, for example, to execute Terms and Conditions, when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or when it is in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity.

Right of Access You have the right to obtain from Huawei confirmation as to whether or not Personal Data concerning you is being processed and, where that is the case, access to a copy of the Personal Data and specific information about how Huawei processes your Personal Data.
Right of Rectification (Correction) You have the right to obtain from Huawei the correction of inaccurate Personal Data concerning you and also the right to have incomplete Personal Data completed.
Right of Erasure (Deletion) You have the right to obtain from Huawei the erasure (deletion) of your Personal Data in particular circumstances.
Right of Restriction You have the right to obtain from Huawei the restriction of processing in particular circumstances.
Right of Objection You have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data in particular circumstances.
Right of Portability In certain circumstances, you have the right to receive your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller.
