to as ”Huawei”, "Digital Power", "we", "us", or "our") for providing services to installers.

that you can clearly understand how we collect and process your personal information in this Service.
Please note that this Privacy Notice is dedicated to Huawei Smart PV Community. If you wish to create a
Huawei FusionSolar or Uniportal account, provision of certain personal data is a contractual requirement. If
you fail to provide these personal data, you may not create an account. In other cases, failure to provide
some personal data may prevent you from receiving some of our services, or being part of our events.
Please note that this Privacy Notice of Huawei Smart PV Community is not addressed to minors (according to
the age of majority stipulated by local laws). Minors are not allowed to create their own user accounts
without the consent of their parents or guardians. The processing of a child's personal data will be carried
out only as permitted by applicable law, with the explicit consent of the child's parents or guardians, or
when necessary for the protection of the child.

1. What data do we collect about you
Personal data refers to any data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
We will only collect and use the following categories of your personal data and for the purposes described
in this Privacy Notice:
• User account information: Huawei Uniportal ID, password, FusionSolar user account, and device identifier (Android ID, for Android devices only)
• Device related information: SN, installation country, installation time, activation country, activation
time.
• Personal contact information: name, mobile phone number, email address, address, city, country, zip code
• Company information: company name, company phone number, company email address, company website, company address, city, country, zip code, registration number, registration document, company logo, market share information, and company ID (the unique ID automatically generated by the system after a company account is registered)
• Certificates of Huawei FusionSolar Certified Installer/Huawei FusionSolar Professional Installer:

To ensure our Services work correctly, we may at times place cookies and similar technologies (collectively

2. Required Permissions
Storage permission: When you open this App for the first time or use the feedback function, you can choose to
grant the permission so that we can obtain the content in your SD card and provide you with services such as
saving and downloading files, and uploading images.
Network status access permission: When you use the login, you can choose to grant the permission so that we
can
obtain the network status of your device.
App installation permission (only for Android): When you use the app update function, you can choose to grant
the permission so that we can obtain your app version number and provide you with app installation services.
Camera permission: When you scan the code, take photos and videos, and other functions, you can choose to
grant
the permission to obtain your camera information and provide you with such services.
Internet access permission: When you access our services in this app, you need to enable this permission to
connect to this app.
3. How do we use your data
We process the following personal data as necessary to provide you with the requested services. This
processing of personal data is therefore necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations towards you
(Article 6 (1) b) GDPR).
3.1 We will collect and process your “User account information” (Huawei Uniportal ID, password) to allow you
log in to and use the Account management services of providing services to installers, and user password
retrieval.
3.2 We will collect and process your “Personal contact information” (name, email address) and your
“Certificate information” (certificate ID), when you experience our Certification function on the Huawei
Smart PV Community.
3.3 We will collect and process your “Personal contact information” (name, email address, country) and your
“Company information” (company name), when you participate in our event on the Huawei Smart PV Community.
3.4 We will collect and process your “Personal contact information” (name, mobile phone number, email
address, address, city, country, zip code) and your “Company information”, when you experience our gift
redemption service in the Point Mall function on the Huawei Smart PV Community.
3.5 We will collect and process your “Company information” (as listed above) so that you can create an
installer company account on behalf of your company.
If you have provided your consent, we may send you our marketing emails (“EDM emails”). For this reason, we
will process your personal data, as described below.
This processing of personal data is based on your consent (Article 6 (1) a) GDPR).
3.6 We will collect and process your “User account information” (Huawei Uniportal ID, password, FusionSolar
user account) to allow you log in to and use the Account management services of providing services to
installers, and user password retrieval in FusionSolar APP
3.7 We will collect and process your Personal contact information (name, mobile phone number, email address,
address, city, country, zip code) when you register your personal account.
3.8 We will collect and process your “company information” (company name, business registration country,
company located city, company registration number) and Company Administrator Information(name, job title,
email, phone number) when you register your company in community. We will collect your company certification
information (company name, business registration country, company address, company located city , zip code,
company license or the company registration number, company phone number, company official email, official
website address, company registration file, letter of authorization, the scale of installed capacity of
inverter and energy storage system) when you complete your company certification so that you could
experience our gift redemption service, promotions on the Huawei Smart PV Community.
3.9 With your consent, we will collect and process your “Personal contact information” (name, email
address, country) and your “Certificate information” (certificate ID) to send you our EDM emails, so as to
help us to continuously improve our products and services. You can unsubscribe at any time by choosing User
Center > My Profile > Edit to Withdraw in email.
3.10 When you enable notifications, we collect and process your device identifier (Android ID, for Android devices only) to deliver system notifications through the Power-Partner app. You may disable notifications at any time by navigating to Me > Settings > Notification.
3.11 To allow you to use the PV plant deployment function, we will use your company name, company ID, and Uniportal account IDs to for service verification. After the verification is successful, your company will be authorized to use the related services. We will share your company name, company ID, and Uniportal account IDs of the personnel who have obtained the FusionSolar C&I ESS professional service certification with the PUP platform operation system, so that engineers can deliver Huawei products and provide services through this app.
3.12 Feedback & Suggestions
When you use the "Feedback & Suggestions" feature to provide comments or suggestions regarding this application, we will collect your account information and the content of the feedback you submit through this feature. This allows us to track your relevant feedback and subsequently improve your user experience by enhancing the application's functionalities.
3.13 Satisfaction Survey
When you use the "Satisfaction Survey" feature to provide feedback on your satisfaction level with this application, we will collect your Uniportal account information and the opinions you submit through this feature. This allows us to track your relevant feedback and subsequently improve your user experience by enhancing the application's functionalities.
4. How do we store or disclose your data
Your data is stored on the server located in the Frankfurt, Germany,
Our service providers have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by contract and will not
process your personal data for any other purposes. We will share or disclose your personal data in the
following scenarios:
4.1 Sharing with service providers:
We use Huawei intragroup service providers. They will have access to your personal data and process your
data only insofar as is necessary for the performance of our contractual obligations to you. Your Uniportal account data (such as the Uniportal account ID, account password, mobile number, and email address) will be shared with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. in the People's Republic of China. Huawei will provide you with maintenance services and the data will be stored in Dongguan, Guangdong. This transfer of personal data is subject to appropriate safeguards and concluded

4.2 Disclosing to third-party service providers:
We will disclose your “Personal contact information” (as listed above) to the third-party logistics company
and Huawei sales partners who is responsible for goods distribution so that we can response your gift
redemption order and provide you with gift delivery services.
4.3 Legal or regulatory disclosures:
We may share or disclose your personal data to comply with applicable laws and regulations in response to
requests from regulators, courts or government agencies, or to establish or defend our legal rights.
4.4 Business reorganization:
Your personal data may also be disclosed as part of merger, acquisition, sale of assets (such as service
agreements) or transition of service within Huawei group or to another company.
5. How long do we retain your data
We aim to take all reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect your personal data from
unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage or loss. We will continue improving these
measures to protect the security of your personal data. For example, we may use encryptions to ensure
sensitive data confidentiality; we use trusted protection mechanisms to protect data from malicious attacks;
we deploy access control mechanisms to ensure only authorized personnel can access personal data; and we
raise awareness among employees about the importance of protecting personal data through security and
privacy protection training sessions.
We will retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes defined in this Notice.
In the Huawei Smart PV Community service, the specific retention period of your personal data is as follows:
5.1 Data Deletion
Once you submit an application for deregistering your personal account or company account, we will start the
data processing process immediately. We will delete your personal account data or company account data from
the Smart PV Community after retaining the data for 15 calendar days. Data shared with Huawei intragroup service providers will be deleted concurrently within 15 calendar days.
1. After you submit an application for deregistering your personal account, Huawei will delete all personal
data (including but not limited to personal information and uploaded files) related to your account based on
current technical capabilities. However, we will still retain some of your data to comply with laws,
regulations, and regulatory requirements in the areas of finance, auditing, etc. For example, data related
to your orders, including bonus point redemption and incentive activities, will be retained.
2. After you submit an application for deregistering your company account, Huawei will delete all company
data (including but not limited to the company certification information and uploaded files) related to the
company account based on current technical capabilities. Your administrator account will automatically
become a personal account and your personal data will still be saved. Huawei will try to delete all data
from your company account. However, in some special cases, we will still retain some of your data for
reasonable and necessary purposes to comply with laws and regulations, handle outstanding transactions,
resolve potential disputes or controversies, fulfill statutory audit or regulatory obligations (such as
event acceptance and financial accounting), etc. For example, we may need to retain relevant transaction
records and communication information from the data related to your orders including bonus point redemption
and incentive activities to provide necessary evidence and basis during dispute resolution; or we may need
to retain transaction financial information for a certain period of time to meet tax filing and audit
requirements according to tax laws and regulations.
5.2 We will keep your gift redemption order information for 5 years from the date you place your order, to
ensure we comply with relevant tax and audit compliance requirements. Once the retention period expires, we
will delete or anonymize your personal data, unless otherwise required by relative laws and regulations.
5.3 Other personal data collected during your registration and/or related to your FusionSolar or Uniportal
account will be stored for the for the duration of you having the respective Huawei account.
