[Kathmandu, Nepal, March 11, 2025] Huawei Digital Power hosted the Solar PV and Energy Storage
Dialogue: Nepalese Industry, a premier event focused on advancing sustainable green energy
solutions. Held at the Huawei Exhibition Center in Hattisar-01, Kathmandu, this exclusive gathering brought
together over 100 influential stakeholders from Nepal’s energy, commercial, and industrial
sectors. The event, organized in joint collaboration with the Confederation of Nepalese
Industries (CNI), provided a platform to explore the potential of solar photovoltaic (PV)
systems and energy storage solutions in transforming Nepal’s energy landscape, steering the country toward a
greener and more sustainable future. The event was also endorsed by key industry leaders from the
Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC), Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) among others whose commitment
to the development of Nepal's industrial energy sector is crucial for the country’s transition to a
sustainable future.
The event featured an exceptional line-up of guest speakers, each bringing invaluable insights to the
discussions. Speakers included Jim Huang, CEO of Huawei Nepal; Ashish Garg, Chair of the Energy Development
Council at the Confederation of Nepalese Industries; James Zhang, Director of Huawei Nepal Digital Power
Department; Shubha Laxmi Shrestha, Deputy Director of the Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC), Dinesh
Dulal, Chief of Sustainable Energy Banking at NMB Bank, Dr. Madhusudan Adhikari, Member of the Electricity
Regulation Commission, Gary, technical expert of Tongwei, as well as managing directors from leading
industry players such as Shiv Shakti Group, DJPL Group, and Chaudhary Group (CG).The event fostered fruitful
discussions, covering key topics ranging from the latest trends in solar PV and energy storage to the
practical applications of these technologies in Nepal. Speakers provided in-depth perspectives on how these
solutions can help decarbonize industries, cut energy costs, and promote sustainable practices.
During the event, Huawei unveiled its latest innovations, the Huawei FusionSolar C&I OASIS Solution
including the 1C/150K & 215/108KWH C&I Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The official launch
was led by Jim Huang, Huawei Nepal CEO, Li Xiaowei, Chief Technical Officer Huawei Nepal, and Ni Xiaopeng,
Managing Director of Huawei South Asia Digital Power Business Department. These advanced solutions are
designed to help Nepalese industries reduce energy costs and improve the reliability of their power supply.
Additionally, the FusionSolar C&I OASIS Smart PV & ESS Solution was introduced, offering enhanced
safety features for commercial and industrial applications, such as shopping malls, factories, and office
parks. These innovations are in line with global efforts to reduce carbon emissions and contribute to
building a low-carbon, circular economy.
In his welcome address, Jim Huang, Chief Executive Officer, Huawei Nepal highlighted that, “We were
