The 2nd Global Installer Summit: Huawei FusionSolar Accelerates Business Success for Installers
[March 20–22, 2025, Shenzhen & Dongguan, China] Huawei FusionSolar held the 2nd Global Installer Summit in Shenzhen and Dongguan, China. The event attracted over 500 partners and installers worldwide, including regions such as Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. Attendees engaged in thought-provoking discussions fueled by passion on important topics including smart PV industry trends, installer strategies, cutting-edge residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) solutions, success stories in installer development, and marketing strategies.
The three-day event covers a number of key themes, such as culture, strategy, technology, and model empowerment. The Best Installer Contest made a debut at the event, introducing a points-based reward system to inspire installers to share real-world cases for collaborative growth. The Huawei FusionSolar Creators' Cup was also kicked off. Prizes including the top award of US$100,000 are offered to motivate installers to capture their exciting moments of creating green lifestyles for residential and C&I owners, ultimately promoting sustainable development of the industry.

He pointed out that the PV and energy storage industries will continue to grow, with a three-fold increase in PV installations and six-fold increase in ESS installations by 2030. Mr. Sun stressed that PV will become the main energy source in the future-oriented power system, and generation-grid-load-storage synergy and full-lifecycle intelligence will be achieved. Additionally, Dr. Fang shared the best practices of partners and installers in branding and marketing in regions including Europe and Asia Pacific. Antonio Jiang, Chief Digital Architect of Huawei Digital Power CRM, demonstrated a one-stop platform designed for installers. The platform offers comprehensive services including marketing support, incentive activities, training, enablement, and technical response. The platform, in collaboration with the field force, partner development teams, and corresponding digital tools, builds an effective system for installer development and support. It bridges Huawei and installers, agilely responds to installers' requirements, and improves installers' capabilities and operation efficiency, facilitating their business development.

Wang Wenyuan, Chief Engineer of Huawei Smart PV Management System, delivered a speech on "SmartDesign Empowers Business Success." SmartDesign is an online design tool that can efficiently and professionally address numerous challenges faced by FusionSolar installers through distinct features, including standard design, device selection, and intuitive and visible display of project benefits for owners. Based on a satellite map, installers can design an online project within 10 minutes without visiting the site. The tool not only supports electrical design, 3D modeling, PV module layout, and device list generation, but also generates detailed reports that clearly display the return on investment (ROI) for owners, significantly improving the communication efficiency between owners and installers.

Allen Zeng, Vice President of Global Marketing, Sales and Services, Huawei Digital Power, shared Huawei's latest solutions in the service field. From the perspective of installers, Mr. Zeng introduced the latest achievements of Huawei's residential and C&I products in serviceability, best practices in service support, and simplified service sales solutions. For the installer service journey, he introduced the optimizations of next-generation residential and C&I ESSs in simplified and efficient delivery, the technical assistance center (TAC) and spare parts support systems for Huawei and partners, the convenient methods for accessing short videos and VR knowledge, and the simplified purchase process for installers based on an online store, helping partners achieve business success.

Kevin Ma, President of Global Residential PV Sales & Service, Huawei Digital Power, delivered a keynote speech on "Solution Value and Full-Journey Support: Empower Installers' Success in the Residential Business," sharing the development trends, new opportunities, and Huawei's new solutions in the residential market. He stressed that Huawei will continue to provide end-to-end full-journey support for installers to help them achieve business success. Mr. Ma pointed out that, "The value delivery of products and solutions is the primary productivity." Jack Tong, President of Global C&I PV Sales & Service, Huawei Digital Power, released the C&I one-fits-all solution and the industry's first 215 kWh hybrid cooling ESS. The ESS received the first Safety Prime certification from TÜV Rheinland for its cell-to-consumption (C2C) dual-link safety design. Moreover, the innovative intelligent air-liquid cooling technology achieves a round-trip efficiency of 91.3%. The unique dual-loop cooling design ensures a 2% higher state of health (SOH) than the industry average. The unique pack-level optimizers achieve a 2% higher available capacity than the industry average. The overall solution delivers four core values to owners and installers: active safety, premium quality, higher profitability, and one-fits-all, ensuring shared success among owners, partners, and Huawei and accelerating green transformation across the industry.

The Best Installer Contest: Sharing global successful experience to build a zero-carbon future
The Best Installer Contest took center stage at the 2nd Global Installer Summit. Ten installers from different countries shared their real-world cases and successful experience, contributing valuable ideas and wisdom to achieving a zero-carbon future.
The event fostered a warm and engaging atmosphere, with enthusiastic participation. The discussions were insightful and inspiring, covering key business operations topics. Participants shared knowledge, learned from each other, and expanded their perspectives, supporting mutual growth among global installers.

The CEO of Klövsta Energi AB in Northern Europe shared their story of PV projects in a small town in Sweden. The story is about a single installer serving the entire town from a single household to a large community. Huawei PV & ESS systems have been deployed in more than 1000 households across the town. He stressed that quality, safety, and trust are the key to winning customer trust and develop new customers. He chose Huawei's residential solution because of its outstanding performance in the industry and expected to connect more neighborhoods and communities in the future for energy independence while helping local people to reap more benefits.
The CEO of ROMSIR-IMPEX SRL in Romania shared their achievements in building 12,500 PV systems in the past five years. They won customers' trust thanks to the customer-centric approach, a low failure rate of Huawei's products, the online monitoring function, and enhanced support for installers. She planned to carry out more joint marketing activities with Huawei to increase the market share.
The speaker from TCS POWER in Thailand emphasized the importance of technical, service, and financial feasibility, and believed that social media such as Facebook can be leveraged to demonstrate product details and workshops can be customized to attract customers and continuously expand the market.
TRUACH in Japan focuses on innovative ESSs, especially to ensure residential power supply in the event of disasters. They pointed out that, as the electricity price and demand continue to increase in Japan, more home owners incline to save electricity and use renewable energy. Additionally, Tokyo requires that PV modules be installed in new residential buildings, creating significant opportunities for industry development.

The CEO of Girasolve Energy in Mexico shared their experience of working with Huawei to provide stable power supply for a variety of scenarios through reliable PV equipment, and revealed a plan to develop the C&I ESS and PV+ESS+Charger markets.
The CEO of Rising Sun in Ecuador shared their history of exploring the PV market, emphasizing that the biggest barrier to innovation is not technology, but belief. They illuminated schools and factories through PV projects and has fostered a pool of talent specializing in PV business.
