Huawei Smart PV Community User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") is a legally binding contract between you and Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd. and its global affiliates (hereinafter referred to as “Huawei”) on matters related to the use of the Huawei Smart PV Community (hereinafter referred to as “this Community”). Please read this Agreement carefully and ensure that you fully understand this Agreement.
Article 1 Confirmation and Acceptance of This Agreement
1. This Community (domain name: community.solar.huawei.com, Application name: Power-Partner) is operated and owned by Huawei. Please read this Agreement carefully before using this Community. When you use the functions or services of this Community, please understand the applicable terms of use and rules of such functions or services.
After you enter information, read and agree to this Agreement, and complete all registration procedures as prompted on the registration page, or after you enter information, read and agree to this Agreement, and complete all activation procedures as prompted on the activation page, or when you actually use this Service in other ways, you acknowledge that you have fully read, understood, and accepted all the content of this Agreement and this Agreement is legally binding. You promise to accept and comply with the terms of this Agreement. You shall not claim that this Agreement is invalid or request to withdraw from this Agreement on the grounds that you have not read the content of this Agreement or have not obtained Huawei's answers to your inquiries.
2. You must reach the legal age of majority for the legal jurisdiction that you reside in and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
Article 2 Functions of This Community
1.Account Registration
Users can register a Huawei Uniportal account to log in to the community. After login, users can use functions such as video, document download, activities, installer certification exam, installer map, and installer company information management. After completing the user's personal information, the user can use the corresponding service. When registering, you need to enter the country/region, mobile number, or email address, and set the password on the registration page. If you no longer use the community, you can deregister your account.
2. Training
After registration, you can access the basic courses and participate in video training on this Community.
3. Exams and Certification
This Community uses Huawei iLearning to provide online exams and certification services for installers. You must provide your name and email address to Huawei iLearning to complete the exam registration. After passing the exam, you can obtain an installer certificate. Huawei iLearning is the data controller of the preceding information that you provide. For details about how the platform uses and protects your personal information, see the Privacy Statement.
4. Events
This Community provides you with webinars and offline events. When you sign up for an event, you need to provide your name, email address, company name, country/region, and other relevant information so that we can send you event notifications promptly. For participating in events, users can collect activity points, which indicate their individual level of engagement within the community.
5. Installer Company
(1) Installer Company Registration
The legal representative or an authorized individual from the company needs to visit the Huawei Digital Power Smart PV Community (website: http://community.solar.huawei.com/ or Power-Partner Application) to create an engineer account. This account will then serve as the default company administrator account to complete the registration of the company account. The information required for company registration includes the company name, country, city, email address, telephone number, and the company license number (or company registration number).
(2) Employee Account Management
Installer companies can assist their engineers in creating individual accounts and associating them to the company account for easier management. The association will be established upon approval by the administrator.
6. Availability of content and functions
You understand and agree that content and functions are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We have the right to determine the form and content of the services and to change, suspend, or terminate some or all of the preceding functions or services.
Article 3 Access to This Community
To access or use this Community, you must prepare the equipment needed to connect to the Internet and bear the service fees by yourself, including but not limited to the network access fee and mobile data fee. When using any third-party services, you shall also comply with the third-party service guidelines and related fee regulations.
Article 4 User Information
1. Once you successfully register an account in this Community, please keep your username and password secure. You shall bear any losses incurred as a result of your negligence. If you find any unauthorized use of your account or any possible vulnerability on this Community, please promptly notify us.
2. In order to protect your personal interests, please do not use a simple password containing your date of birth, name, or repeated or consecutive letters or numbers, or share your password with others.
3. You shall keep confidential the verification code sent to you by us when you register an account with this Community using your mobile number, reset your password, perform real-name authentication, or link your mobile number. You shall bear any losses incurred due to the disclosure of your verification codes. When applying to become a user of this Community, you shall provide authentic, accurate, complete, legal, and valid user information to this Community. If your personal information changes, please notify this Community to update it promptly. If the personal information you provide is not authentic, accurate, or complete, or there is evidence to prove that you have improperly registered or used multiple accounts according to the policies of this Community, you shall bear all liabilities and consequences incurred therefrom. in this case, Huawei reserves the right to refuse to provide services, or block or delete your user account within the scope permitted by laws. With respect to the handling of your data, reference is made to the Privacy Policy.
Article 5 Cyber Security
1. The server of this Community is located in the corresponding regions: People’s Republic of China(Dongguan), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Europe (Germany), Latin America (Brazil), and Middle East and Africa (Dubai). This Community is accessible worldwide, but some functions or services that are discussed, proposed, supplied, or provided on or through this Community may not be available to all people or in all geographic locations.
2. You shall not use this Community for illegal purposes or purposes prohibited by this Agreement. You shall not use this Community or its content to infringe on the legal rights and interests of other organizations or individuals.
3. You shall not attempt to illegally access, decipher, or use any other illegal methods to gain unauthorized access to the content of this Community or use its services. You shall not track, reverse lookup, crack, or decode any information about customers of this Community, including but not limited to any Huawei Uniportal ID accounts not owned by you.
4. You shall not violate any network security mechanisms or authentication measures utilized by or linked to this Community. You shall not probe, scan, or test for any network vulnerabilities of or linked to this Community. You shall not launch any form of network attack against this Community, nor spread viruses, or Trojan horses on or through this Community.
5. You agree not to use any device, software, or program to interfere with or try to interfere with this Community's operations, any transactions made on this Community, or other users' use of this Community. You shall not engage in any actions that store unreasonable or disproportionate amounts of data on the infrastructures, systems, or networks of this Community or systems or networks linked to this Community.
6. This Community may contain links to other independent third-party websites, products, or services, which are provided only for your convenience. Huawei does not provide any express or implied guarantees regarding the content, services, or information linked to other websites, nor shall these links be taken as being recommended, recognized, or authorized by Huawei. Huawei has no control over the privacy or data protection policies of third parties, and such third parties are not bound by this Agreement. You shall independently determine your interactions with such links. Before submitting personal information to third parties, read and refer to the privacy policies of these third parties. Huawei does not assume any responsibility for such interactions.
7. The security and confidentiality of network connections and data transmissions between you and this Community are subject to the technologies used by you and your network carrier or other external factors beyond the control of Huawei. Although Huawei utilizes prudent internal security management mechanisms and operation procedures, and takes technical measures to prevent computer viruses, network attacks, network intrusions, or other activities that may jeopardize network security, the information and data you provide to this Community may still be at risk of being intercepted. Huawei does not guarantee the security and confidentiality of network connections and data transmissions between you and this Community.
Article 6 Privacy and Personal Information Protection
We attach great importance to your personal information and privacy protection. You understand and agree that during your use of this Community, Huawei will collect and process your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy of this Community. Therefore, you shall carefully read the Privacy Policy of this Community to understand the purpose and method of personal information processing, the legal basis, types of personal information processed, retention period, methods and procedures for exercising user rights, and measures taken by Huawei to protect your personal information. You can view and download the Privacy Policy of this Community at the bottom of the home page on this Community. The third-party platforms displayed on this Community may have their own privacy policies. You shall exercise caution when reading and accepting the privacy policies of the third-party platforms.
Article 7 Limitation of Liability
1. Huawei shall also be liable for negligent violations of major contractual obligations (those which are essential for achieving the purpose of an agreement and on which either may regularly rely) in accordance with the statutory provisions. In that case, the liability of Huawei shall be limited to the typically foreseeable damage.
2. Huawei is liable for loss of data only up to the amount of typical recovery costs which would have arisen, if proper and regular data backup measures been taken by you.
3. In no case shall Huawei be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive damages, including - without limitation- loss of profit or revenues, loss of goodwill or reputation or loss of opportunity.
4. The limitations of liability set out in this section shall likewise apply to Huawei’s personnel, vicarious agents or legal representatives.
5. The aforementioned limitations of liability do not apply in respect to mandatory statutory provisions – in particular damages resulting from injury to life, body or health.
6. Liability for any other damage shall be excluded, in particular for data loss or hardware faults caused by incompatibility between the components already present in your (IT) system and new or modified hardware and software, or for system malfunctions that may result from existing configuration errors or older, interfering drivers that were not completely removed.
Article 8 Your Obligations
1. Your use of this Community shall be in strict accordance with applicable national laws and regulations. You warrant that you will not send or spread information that is in violation of national laws or regulations as well as moral codes through this Community. Such information includes but is not limited to information that:
(1) Violates the fundamental principles of the Constitution;
(2) Compromises national security, divulges state secrets, subverts state power, undermines national unity, or impairs national honor and interests;
(3) Incites ethnic hatred or discrimination or disrupts ethnic solidarity;
(4) Disrupts the religious policies of the country or publicizes evil cults or feudal and superstitious ideologies;
(5) Spreads rumors, disrupts social order, or undermines social stability;
(6) Spreads or describes content that involves obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terror, or abets crimes;
(7) Threatens, insults, attacks, or defames others, or infringes on the legal rights and interests of others;
(8) Engages in money laundering, theft of trade secrets or personal information, or other illegal activities;
(9) Publishes content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyright and trademark rights and other legal rights;
(10) Is otherwise prohibited by laws or administrative regulations.
2. If you violate this Agreement, Huawei, within its reasonable discretion, has the right to give you warnings, require you to make corrections within a limited time period, suspend services for you, delete your account, or prohibit your registration permanently based on the severity of the violation. You shall compensate Huawei or any third parties for any losses arising from such violation in accordance with applicable laws. If the violation constitutes a crime, this Community has the right to report such violation to the relevant authorities and assist in the investigation.
Article 9 Updates to This Agreement and Users' Obligations
This Community has the right to modify the terms of this Agreement in due course in accordance with changes in national laws and regulations or as required by operations, and publicize the updated agreement in accordance with national laws and regulations. The updated agreement takes effect after being publicized and replaces the original agreement. You shall check and read the latest agreement and announcements from time to time. If you do not agree to the updated agreement, you have the right to stop using the services of this Community immediately. By continuing using the services of this Community, you fully agree to the updated agreement.
In case you registered a user- and/or company-account, we will inform you of any changes via e-mail and ask for your consent. If you do not object within 6 weeks after being informed of such change, your consent will be assumed.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is found to be void, invalid, or unenforceable for any reason by juridical or administrative agencies, such provision shall be deemed as separable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of other provisions of this Agreement.
Article 10 Termination of Services
If you do not wish to use this Community, you have the right to disable the services of this Community, which you use. To disable these services, click My Profile in your account, click Disable Services in the upper right corner, click Disable at the bottom of the page, and click Confirm in the dialog box that is displayed. After the services are disabled, your data in this Community will be deleted (except for data required to be retained according to laws, regulations, and regulatory obligations), unless otherwise agreed by you and this Community or required by applicable laws and regulations or the binding orders of relevant administrative, law enforcement, and judicial agencies. You shall bear legal liabilities for any consequences arising from this operation. Exercise caution when performing this operation. For more information about disabling services of this Community, click My Profile in your account, click Disable Services in the upper right corner, and view the information on the page that is displayed.
Article 11 How to Deregister a Company Account
11.1 Right to Deregister a Company Account
You have the right to submit a request for deregistering your company account in this Community at any time in accordance with this Agreement and relevant laws and regulations. We respect your discretion and will assist you in deregistering your company account in accordance with the process and requirements specified in this Agreement and the Privacy Policy. Company accounts are classified into registered company accounts and certified company accounts. Deregistering a certified company account will significantly affect your rights and interests. Therefore, only the administrator of a registered company account can apply for deregistering the company account.
11.2 Deregistration Process
You can choose My Profile > Deregister Company Account on this Community to submit a deregistration application. You will be prompted to complete a series of necessary operations, including but not limited to confirming your intention to deregister, and reading and agreeing to the deregistration notifications and disclaimers.
1. If you want to deregister your personal account, you need to unbind your account from the associated company first. Choose My Profile > Disassociate and then apply for deregistering your personal account. If you are the only administrator, you need to assign the administrator permissions to other users before unbinding your account from the company.
2. If you want to deregister a registered company account that has more than one administrator, when one administrator clicks Deregister Company Account, the system will send a pop-up message to other administrators through this Community. The company account can be deregistered only after all administrators agree. If one of the administrators does not agree, the company account fails to be deregistered. Once the company account is deregistered, we will immediately stop providing you with all services of this Community and mark your company account at the backend to prevent further operations or access.
11.3 Impact and Consequences of Deregistration
1. Consequences of deregistering a company account are irreversible. Your administrator account will automatically become a personal account, and you will permanently lose access to and use of the company account, including but not limited to the following: You cannot view or modify any company information after logging in to this Community, you cannot continue to use functions and services for the company provided by this Community, and you cannot restore deleted content or data.
2. You shall acknowledge that deregistering your company account may affect the business activities or transactions that you participate in related to the company in this Community. For example, if your company has unredeemed bonus points and orders that are being processed, these orders may be canceled or processed according to the rules of this Community, which may involve refunds or adjustments of other related matters. The specific processing methods will be implemented according to the effective policies of this Community and relevant laws and regulations.
3. Please carefully consider and properly handle all matters related to the company, settle all outstanding transactions and financial matters, and cancel the association or agreements with other users or third parties before deregistering the company account. Once the company account is deregistered, you shall be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by improper handling of the above matters.
11.4 Data Retention and Deletion
Huawei will delete all data from your company account. However, in some special cases, we will still retain some of your data for reasonable and necessary purposes to comply with laws and regulations, handle outstanding transactions, resolve potential disputes or controversies, fulfill statutory audit or regulatory obligations (such as event acceptance), etc. Once the obligations are fulfilled according to laws and regulations, we will immediately delete all retained data of the company.

Article 12 Applicable Laws and Dispute Settlement
1. This Agreement shall be governed, construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of People's Republic of China without giving effect to principles of conflicts of law
2. Any disputes between you and Huawei in relation to this Agreement shall be settled through amicable negotiation. In case the negotiations fail, any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts.
