From 29^th Feb, 2024, the Smart PV community “company account” goes live. The major change is that private accounts can be upgraded/associated with their company account.

Q: How to count the total points of the company account?

The total bonus points of a company account are obtained from the accumulated bonus points of the company administrator account and personal account which is associated company account. (Only installation points will be accumulated to the company account, and events points will still be under the personal account.) The company administrator/associated personal account can earn points by install new devices. The points obtained vary according to the company's account level.

Q: Can company account earn installation points?

1. The company account can earn installation points. The installation points are accumulated to the administrator's individual account and company account.
2. The individual account of the associated company account can earn installation points and accumulate the points to the company account.

Q: Can company account participate in events and earn points for events?

1. Individual account with associated company accounts can participate in events. The event points will not be accumulated to the company account. Only individual event participation records will be synchronized to the company account management.
2. The company account can participate in the events. The events points are accumulated to the individual events points of the company administrator.

Q: Do multinational companies need to register accounts for multiple countries in community?

Multinational companies need to register local company account in multiple countries. (For example, Company A can apply for company account in Germany and Austria: Company A- Germany, Company A- Austria)

Q: Does the company account support points redemption for gifts?

Currently, this function is not supported. Community is in the upgrade phase, after the upgrade, the company can redeem gifts. Now individual accounts can still use bonus points to redeem gifts. Only individual bonus points can be redeemed for gifts.

Q: How to count the total points of individual account?

The total bonus points of individual account come from the accumulated bonus points of the original individual account. The individual installation bonus points and events bonus points are retained and can still be earned in the following case: hasn’t associated company, has associated company, unbinding company, and registered company account.

Q: Can I earn installation points for my individual account?

Individual accounts can earn installation points, installation points will be accumulated to the company account after associated with the company account.

Q: Can I participate in events and earn points for events with my individual account?

Individual accounts can participate in events and obtain events points. The generated events points will not be accumulated to the company account. Only individual events records will be synchronized to the company account management.

Q: Can I redeem points for gifts for my individual account?

1. The Rewards Mall is disabled for individual accounts from year 2024. The specific information is subject to the community notice.
2. After associating with company account, individual account can redeem the bonus points for gifts, in the meanwhile, the company's bonus points will be deleted after the individual account successfully redeems the gift.

Q: What is the impact on individual accounts after unbinding company?

1. After unbinding company, the individual bonus points are still retained in individual account and the installation bonus points of the original associated company will be eliminated accordingly.
2. Installation and events bonus points under the individual account can still be redeemed for gifts in the Rewards Mall (if the Rewards Mall has been launched in the country).
3. After unbinding company, installations points of individual account will be available to new associated company.
